Valentine's MIxology

Happy Valentine's Week, Everyone!
As you probably know, I love holidays, and try to always use them as an opportunity to find new fun things to do and make! (Don't forget to check out Tuesday's Pink Champagne Cupcakes!!)
Whether you're single, in a relationship, married, or carrying on an affair with a fictitious character (Hello Fitzgerald Grant...), Valentine's Day is always really good for one thing:

So in that spirit, today I have THREE different Heart Day Cocktails!

These three drinks are not only all red and pink colored for heart day, but they cover a broad spectrum of base ingredients from Vodka to Tequila to Champagne.
So hopefully one of these will suit your fancy and help you woo your Valentine.
Today I'll tell you how to make a fresh Raspberry Martini, a Pink Margarita, and a Cherry Temple.
Let's get started, shall we??

Raspberry Martini
It's hard to go wrong with a vodka martini, and this one is delicious!!! The muddled raspberries make it so fresh tasting and sweet, I could drink a gallon. (Speaking of, for any party hosts out there, this would be a great recipe to try in a punch bowl or pitcher!)
- 8 Raspberries
- 1/2 oz. Grenadine
- 1 oz. Vodka
- 1 tsp. Fresh Lemon Juice

How To Make It:
1. Muddle raspberries ad grenadine in a cocktail shaker & let stand for 15 minutes.
2. Add vodka and lemon juice, and ice.
3. Shake it like a polaroid picture.
4. Strain into chilled glass

Pink Margarita
The margarita might just be my favorite drink on the planet, so I was super excited to discover one with an interesting (PINK) spin on it!!
I'd also never tried Campari, and the combo of the honey and Campari put a great twist on my fav drink.
1 1/2 oz. tequila

- 1/4 oz. Campari
- 1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 oz. honey

How to make it:
1. Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously.
2. *In the meantime, rim your glass with salt or sugar!
3. Pour into a tumbler (or margarita glass as shown here).
*Pro Tip: garnish with a lemon slice and mint leaf.

Cherry Temple
What's better than a Shirley Temple?
(Sad timing on the namesake of this, I worshipped her as a kid! BUT - the drink is still fabulous. Even more so when made with Champagne!)
- 1 oz. Grenadine
- 6 oz. Champagne
- 1 oz. St. Germain
- Splash of Lime Juice
Pro Tip *Fill glass with fresh cherries

How To Make It:
1. Pour Champagne into flute/glass
2. Top off with grenadine followed by St. Germain
3. If in season, drop a fresh (pitted) cherry or two in the bottom!
