Wall Hanging Mason Jar Vase

For all you avid crafters & how-to-ers out there, I just want to let you know: this is the last week that there will be a separate weekly craft and how-to. From now on, Thursdays will be a combination craft and/or how-to, and Fridays will be a new theme! You'll still get plenty of ideas and projects, and some may be inserted into free days on Saturdays, but in general this is one of the last official Craft days! Today's craft is cute and thrifty and works for any room in the house - a wall hanging mason jar vase!
- Smaller Mason Jar (or glass or bottle, or whatever you wanna use)
- Square Piece of Wood (i got one that was kinda hollowed out in the middle and really liked it)
- Hot Glue
- Paint (any kind: wood, acrylic, spray paint)
- Wire
* Optional: wallpaper or wrapping paper or fabric, any kind of patterned background
How To Make It:
1. Paint your wood square with your chosen color & let dry
2. If you are using paper or cloth, cut it out to fit in the center of your wood square and put thin stripes or dots of hot glue around the edges and a little in the center, and press down onto the wood until it's stuck and let dry.
3. Glue a strip of wire on both ends to the back to create something to hang the frame with.
4. Now turn it over and glue the mason jar along the back to the frame.
5. Voila! You have your vase! Fill the jar with some water and flowers and hang up! A perfect cute little thing to brighten up the room! Enjoy!
